Co-deposition

The deposition of more than one species during electrodeposition. For example, if two metals are codeposited at the same time the resulting material is an alloy. Metal matrix composites can be produced by co-depositing a second phase particle (e.g., ceramic, polymer, or intermetallic particles) with a metallic matrix.
