One
of the molecular
sieves that have been discovered by Mobil scientists. It is composed of
amorphous silica walls and possesses an array of uniform channels arranged in
a two-dimensional hexagonal lattice.
The diameter of the channel can be controlled in the range of 2-10 nm.
