Montmorillonite

 

One of the most commonly used layered silicates having a chemical structure: (M113(A1513Mg113) Si4010(OH)2). Montmorillonite is miscible with hydrophilic polymers, such as poly (ethylene oxide) and poly (vinyl alcohol).
